big change
I'm moving into a new marketing position here at camp as part of a long-term business plan that focuses on increasing year-round guests. Meagan Gray will be coming on board as the next director of our summer camping program. She is one of the best leaders our summer camping program has seen in recent years and everyone at camp is looking forward to her joining our team. Meagan will start work in January. I called her the night after she accepted the job and offered to help in any way possible. She asked me to continue lining up summer staff and volunteers and developing resources such as our brochure and curriculum until she can get on-site. But I will ultimately defer to Meagan in any decisions that she chooses to make regarding next summer. This will be an incredibly smooth process.
Guiding our summer camps over the last three years has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I am very excited in that I can continue to serve camp as I work to market what we offer in year-round hospitality. I thank God for the joy of serving His kingdom through a place that I love so much and where so many wonderful things happen.
