Busy and stressed.
We're ready for the delivery....I hope. Video camera, digital camera and two changes of clothes are in my trunk. I've a tank of gas, some cash, and my cell phone charger as well. Shannon's iPod is ready with music to keep her mind off the contractions until it is time for the epidural....be prepared! My money is on this kid coming down the chute over the weekend.
We've got 334 campers. And more coming every day. Getting ready for them, I hope.
Got 2/3 of my staff. Trying to get a few more references checked, interviews scheduled, lifeguard candidates to apply. Then we'll be done. I hope.
Got some cool stuff lined up for the summer. Trying to get a few more cool things added. Then it will be even cooler.
If I don't get my taxes done soon, I'm going to be feeling some pressure. Don't need that right now.
Bob wants me out of the office for 5 days straight when Joshua gets here. No ifs, ands or buts. That's great, but I don't want stuff to get backed up while I'm gone. Here's hoping we can figure out how to reach that elusive work/life balance I here so much about.
I was in Auburn yesterday. It really is a beautiful campus. They have put a LOT of money into landscaping recently. Which begs the question: Does this mean that they're finally done with the payments to Wayne Hall? That would definitely explain being able to afford such lavish flowers and bushes around town. Just a thought.....
