sam went to work at noon because he insists on being the only non-slacker there. now i'm really bored. the no-school (other than missing my credit by exam spanish test) is cool, but watching cable all day long gets really boring. if i owned gloves and some waterproof pants i would head across the street and join in the sledding. i watched for a while yesterday, but when my hands turned fuchsia, i decided to come back in. i have my aunt's cashmere shawl to bundle up in, but right now tux has claimed it. she looks too happy to move. it looks kind of ridiculous on me anyway, like a big cape. a little too stylish to pair with my regular clothes and go running around the golf course in. apparently my mom has several of her ballgowns too. if anyone wants to invite me to a ball, go ahead, i'm prepared. course i might have to work off the non-vegan booty i got now, but it'd be worth it.
i think i'm going to go attempt this elaborate hot chocolate recipe i got from sam's friend. it's much too cold in this old house without some sort of hot drink.
