John as Celebrity Elf
For anyone who missed it, John was the Celebrity Elf on Fearne Cotton's show on BBC Radio 1 on Dec. 7. The show is available on BBC radio 1 listen again. For those not familiar with the secret celebrity elf the celebrity records a brief message which is them electronically changed to an "elf" voice. Fearne then tries to guess who the elf is. Listeners text their guesses in as well. The elf message and Fearne's comments start about 56 minutes into the show. The elf message is on 3 times and then we hear John as John after they reveal who the elf is. It's a very brief Christmas message. The 3 segments are between 56 minutes and 1 hour 13 minutes I think. I had exact times for each but don't have them with me at the moment. I just happened to be in my car listening to BBC radio 1 on satellite radio when this came on (I'm in the US) and was delighted to hear John. It was quite unexpected but very nice.
