So according to this link http://barrowmanonline.com/books/anythinggoessignings.html there are no book signings due anywhere in Scotland? I am rather surprised seeing as that is where he is originally from. I thought he'd do at least Glasgow, seeing as that is ( Read more... )

I imgaine there are probably more that haven't been arranged/announced yet.

It said on the yahoo group that that was pretty much the final list- i'm at the university of edinburgh so i'm really disappointed as well! I guess since he's still doing panto it's maybe too far to travel, but still!

Maybe after the panto ends he might come up. I'm not giving up hope yet. I've met him twice already and each time I leave wanting more:D

He's not superman honey! I know its disappointing when these things are nowhere near you but I imagine his other commitments dictate how far he can travel for the signings. But if you're willing to travel there are thankfully plenty of opportunities to meet him. I know I'm very grateful that John goes out of his way to give so much time to his fans - signing for ages outside stage doors and the like - very few actors are as fan friendly as he is.

It looks like he has commitments that mean can't travel very far since all the signings are in the South. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that me makes it to Glasgow though. I'd be so there.

I went to see Anything Goes in 2004 and spoke to John afterwards. He hinted to me that he may have been coming to Australia in 2005. I was more than excited, but not long afterwards he got the part of Captain Jack and it will be a L O N G time before he makes it downunder.

Disappointed, but not surprised that there isn't anything north of Birmingham. Looks like the nearest I'll get to meeting JB is when he's on the stage in Manchester! Won't stop me getting the book though.
