Miko the dog
I am puppy-sitting for a friend right now and certain things are becoming clear to me. First, that I need to be getting more excercise, damn a dog can wear you out fast. Second, that being a dog is a lot harder than I thought.
I mean, I take him on a walk and he has to stop and sniff the P-mail from all the other dogs, quiver at the sight of squirrels, birds, cats, etc. and then there is the careful rationing of resources he has to manage. I took him on a short walk last night and he was fine, but this morning I took him on a long walk and he ended up running out of scent marker halfway through. He gives me this look after the third time he has lifted a leg and nothing comes out and I swear, he is scolding me for not warning him that we were going so far.
Who knew there was math involved?
