I am feeling irritated and politicial this morning. Not a good combination.
So Bush admits to the secret CIA prisons in countries where torture is allowed. He admits to illegally wiretapping American citizens and doing an end-run around FISA. He admits that members of his own cabinet have leaked classified imformation to the press. But, he didn't have sex with an aide in the Oval Office, so its not so bad, you know. I mean we were talking about impeachment over a sex scandal, but have a PResident admit to multiple felony acts on nationwide TV and we all just shrug and say "Oh, that Bush! He's such a cowboy!"
Say what?!?
Is anybody else reading the same news that I am? Is anybody else even a little upset about this? Where are the Democrats on this? Why aren't they screaming for blood? If this were a Democrat president doing this stuff, you can bet the Republicans would be screaming bloody murder and pressing charges!
