photography advice

Right you photo people out there, I am looking at getting some filters for my many, many cameras (7 cine cameras and counting). I am planning probably to get a Cokin filter as that will allow me to use the same filters but get different holders for the different cameras. Does any one have any experience with Cokin or should I be looking at Hoya instead?

The other thing I want to start experimenting with is some double exposure stuff, I want to see if I can do some of the early cinema special effects in the style of Lumiere. I can certainly do the split screen by covering half the lens exposing the film rewinding and exposing the other half. But I wondered about ghost like double exposure, what is the best way to underexpose the film so that when it is exposed again it doesn't over expose but does create a reasonable image?
