In honor of one of the best championship weeks I can remember, I have decided to name my all-time favorite NCAA player team.
SF: Al Thornton, Florida State
PF: Scott Padgett, Kentucky
C: Taylor Coppenrath, Vermont
PG: Gerry McNamara, Syracuse
SG: Andrew Bryant, Boston College (before his off the court incidents)
Thats a huge team considering its got 4 PF's on it, but damn they were all nasty. Bryant is the SG because of his amazing rainbow three point shot, and I have to move Al to SF because thats the position he'll probably end up playing in the NBA next season.
Please pray for the FSU basketball team as we await the selection committee's decision tomorrow evening. I know they struggled during the year and especially when Toney Douglas went down with his injury, but Al Thornton sincerely deserves an NCAA bid as he is the best player in the ACC and he's got the biggest heart of any player i've ever seen. GO NOLES.
