Birthday Memories
If I search my memories, I can't think of a better birthday. My family had flown in my youngest son, which is in Berkeley, home for my birthday. I didn't even realize it was him for a moment. Went to my middle sons pinning ceremony. He is in x-ray. Very proud of him. This was friday. Then on saturday we all went out for a family dinner, including my oldest son and his family. His oldest two, twin boys, was celebrating their 10th birthday also. All in all it was great! I also got 3 bouquets of flowers. They are beautiful.
We had finally got the van fixed, only I tried to make it to work monday and had car trouble. I came back home and called in. I promised them I would be there for wednesday and thursday. Amanda had me scheduled until 5:00. I don't know why, when I told her I couldn't stay passed 2:00. I have kids on and off and she is aware of this. I am going to have to do all of my scheduling through Nate, as she puts down whatever she wants. I had kid duty this morning. Got to my sisters at 6:30. This afternoon I picked up the kids at school, (Zack was in trouble), and I got rid of them about 9:00 this evening. Makes for a long day. I start out with 7 and by this evening I only had 2. I generally start out with 8, but my niece Sheyanne went to her Aunt Polly's. She is coming home this week end. I am using my sisters toyota, sequoia for now. Nice ride. I like it better than the surburban.
Since May we have had really hot weather. This year we are breaking the record for triple digit days.
I guess all for now. No real news.
