Well it has been awhile so here ya go
In descending order.
1) boy got a bat in his room last night. Both men in my house turned to jello. Being the intrepid sort that I am i went in an rescued the poor bat from the horror that is my son's room. My husband cowered on the other side of the closed door and kept shouting instructions. Shut the hell up. The boy got a science lesson in how bats hunt. Said bat released into the darkening skies of a perfect fall day.
2) Boy had a staph infection on his face. Acne exploded and then imploded or the staph caused the acne to implode. School nurse completely freaked out because it could be "that other staph." Its not. Boy is on antibiotics inside and out. Boys face is clearing up now. Boy is happy. Girls have noticed.
3) dressed up like a shark eating a scuba diver for Halloween. had my halloween party with brain jello and carrot finger dip and a graveyard cake which was new for this year. It had lanterns on it and a mummy and some skeletons coming up out of the graves. I give awesome halloween parties.
4) Went to Memphis in early October for a conference. went dancing one night. up a dark alley. ended up ripping the tendon in my hip. where the leg attaches to my lower butt. had to be half carried back to hotel. hotel staff thought i was drunk and told me not to puke in the elevator. I should have xhorted on their shoes.
