gunsmokes 50th anniversary is in september. It was on CBS from 1955-1975. Miss Kitty left the show in year 19 and they never explained her absence. two weeks before the anniversary the westerns channel is pulling its gunsmoke lineup and one week before tvland is doing the same thing. Seems paramount is asking for mucho money to extend the contracts. my beloved gunsmoke is leaving the building. no more dreams about matt dillon and his gun. I shall have to be content with my gunsmoke bathroom.
