at the moment i'm burning some cd's for alex so i can send him some new stuff he doesn't have.
and i'm looking at it...
and i see:
-Big D and the Kids Table
-Rancid
-Streetlight Manifesto
-Bouncing Souls
-Anti-Flag
and i'm thinking:
HOT DAMN. that's some good music.
as i'm doing this, though, i have my media player on shuffle. i realize now that the 'shuffle' option really sucks on this player. all i've been hearing for the past 15 minutes is either Rancid, OAR, or Dropkick Murphys. come onnnnnnnnn.
have i mentioned that i HATE THE COLD WEATHER??? cause i do. k.
since i've had so much free time on my hands the past two days (i definitely got caught trying to skip school on friday. therefore, i've been on lockdown since. this is why i have a lot of free time...) i've been looking at tons of old pictures. stuff from like the past four years. it's insane how much everyone's grown up and changed. it really really doesn't seem like that long ago that i came to stafford as a freshman and met all those awesome juniors and seniors. hahaha i was such a dork. i guess i still am though :D it sorta makes me sad to see pictures of all the fun stuff we did, knowing that everyone's kind of drifted apart. i suppose it's just something to accept though; i'm not trying to deny the fact that people grow and change. but yeah. we really did have some awesome times back then, be it players choice, band trips, or just doing stupid crap like playing golden eye all night.
i'm pretty darn happy about the state of things right now. it's nice. :)
