Hello everyone!
It was so long ago I posted my last entry as
Malinconia... Lots of things happened since.
I've decided to create a new LJ at last. Most of you know what happened to the old one, so I prefer to create a brand new account and give it a new start.
I missed blogging and I missed some of you a lot (they will recognize themselves) even if it's not obligatory the same for you ;)
I think my english has improved and it will be less painful for you to read me. Sorry but it's still not perfect. The french cow has received an English dictionary for christmas.
Some of you know that I've been living in England (Bristol) from september 05 to june 06. I've passed my masters there. My stay was very enriching and very pleasant. Though the rainy/windy/cold weather the english ladies english landscapes are bewitching. People are very friendly, food is very nice (some specialities are a bit weird, I must admit, but it's quite nice when we get used to it). I especially loved Bath and London and I want to come back in UK to write my doctorate.
I've meet very nice people there (and bastards too), especially Kim my lovely british housemate, Jean, Helen and Chris and my french friend
Medissy .One of the only thing I disliked about England are the many alchoolics who walk around the street by night and go from a pub to another one completely drunk. That's the first country where I see so much drunk people. To be honnest I've been quite upset by this. I enjoy going to a nice pub, drinking some english cider, enjoy myself... but I can't understand how one can enjoy oneself when one gets pissed everytime one goes to the pub (maybe 3 times the week). Where is the enjoyement in that? Maybe I'm a bit old-fashioned but I can't understand...
However, I am very happy to be back on LJ. Old and dear friends, add me again and I'll will add you back.
