So one of my farm friends told me about some house they drove by asking for someone to chop wood for them. My friend gave them my number. They called me and I went over and saw how much wood they had (thats what she said). I could tell that this guy was kinda a hardass asshole type. He was worried that I was gonna come there with an axe and hurt myself on purpose so I could sue them. If that was my goal, I think i'd pick someone with more money. Since I would take significantly longer to chop the wood with an axe rather than a log splitter, I told the guy that I would attempt to finish all the logs in one weekend (there are about 100 or so. Half of them will be super easy to chop but the other half range for big to huge). I said I'd do it all for 80 bucks since I mostly just want an excuse to chop wood and I don't care how much money I make. However, to sweeten the deal, I told the guy that if I couldn't finish the job in one weekend that I would just do the whole thing for free. I know that 80 bucks is a good deal since after I said that he said he was looking to spend 100 on potentially renting a log splitter himself. The only reason he hadn't done that already was because the rental places had some weird rules about transporting a log splitter. I hope this asshole calls me. WANT TO CHOP WOOD
