the espn update
well for all that are sports fan here is my sports update. first with last tuesdays double hitter for the rafferty's softball team. First let me say it is a rip that i had to pay $27 dollars to play in this league, but that i have to pay $2 to enter into the field. they are just trying to take my money.
The first game was a good game to get the jitters out of us. we lost though by 14 runs. but we had some good double plays, and we also learned the rules of the game. The second game was a little more evenly matched. we started out slow, this being due to the team being drunk. but once we got our cheering crowd we pulled some awsome plays. the girls from work came over to the game to cheers us on. so it was all good in the hood. we still lost though, but we went for beers afterwards. This weeks game is aginst a team that lost last week as well so we shsould be in good shape. one of the team will have its first win of the season.
now for the college sports. I had the whole restruant watch the ut game. it was very exciting, espeacially since most people there are ohio fans. but i was cheering for my vols. we won and got to see the new quarter backs in action. they did very well.
