(no subject)
So I'm setting up a shack in my room. I think I'm gonna have my base scanner set to Stark County at all times, and I haven't figured out what to do with the other two. I could have one set to Henry County at all times, but I don't pick up Henry County too well in my room, but I can pick up Kewanee PD perfectly clear. :wtf:
And of course I have the scanner in my car that is not set to anything particular, just scans.
And I was talking to my Dad today about Low Band, and he said that is what Stark County should go back to, since everyone is migrating off of that to UHF and trunked systems. Sounds like a good idea to me, since Henry and Bureau Counties are off the frequencies (they had to wait their turn when they were all on the same frequencies). Now they just need to buy low band radios and antennas. But who knows, purely speculation.
I miss the high speed internet at school, even though it was shitty. I also miss using my supercomputer when I use the internet.
