I wish I had time to write more about this... but finals loom and I have to study....

A much-beloved professor at our law school, Dale Carpenter, decided to take a leave of absense next semester. He is my Constitutional Law professor, and teaches all the students from Sections A and C. He's a small-l libertarian, but people of every political ( Read more... )

i dunno. when you have the upper classman president of the federalist society coming to a meeting that was supposed to be for section A kids, and basically scolding us for being troublemakers and having the nerve to say anything and then claiming it was because we like to persecute conservatives... and then you have another student snarking to the deans about how great it is that they're acting on behalf of the conservative students in providing more conservative education in the beating heart of bilious liberalism... you can't really say one side is softer spoken.

also, there were actually 3 sides. there were the conservatives screaming about academic freedom, the liberals screaming about ethics, and then the people saying "uh, so... what's this guy and what's all the fuss?"

also also, the 2L's and 3L's there were ALL toolbags for showing up. if you're not in A or C, you had no place being there.
