We are okay, we tried to leave and ended up having to stay in town. The highway was solid with cars, luckily we saw that before the entrance ramp so back we came.
Helwen I tried to call. I hope you got out ok.
Things we learned today in no particular order:
My kid can handle a shot gun. and a field hockey stick. and a tent pole. and a soda bottle. We declared amnesty on swearing. I figure if her kill rate is 95% she can be creative with language if she likes.
Soda slows Zombies down; salt kills them. (K- this was a sentence pattern from Mrs. P's English class. Remember? I should have written 5 of them. heh, but why start now?) The weirdest shit goes through my head during times like this.
If you take a 2 liter bottle and tape a section of hose to it you have more control over the direction of the spray. Also, you can refill from cans and waste less. Even a 5 year old can handle it (and did quite well). The two year old can get soda cans and she is quick.
I think it all peaked around 3-4 pm, we still have a ton of salt and soda. Who thinks I squirrel seltzer away now huh?
keep me all posted on how you are doing.
