Rose is officially my second-favourite co-worker. I worked with her today, the first day that the store has been run by both women. Though I love my job, the testosterone levels in that place can be unbearable at times. We sat around today and polished the guitars and dusted the counters and gossiped. Girl Power, indeed!
Also, let it be known that I closed the store by myself tonight. I say this because Rose doesn't know the closing procedures at all, and so it was entirely up to me. Closing is difficult because it's full of printouts and reports and deposits, and I'm used to Randy or my boss doing it. It was my first time, and I'm 99.9% sure that I did everything correctly.
Even though The Phantom Menace royally sucked, I'm on a huge Star Wars kick at the moment. I just installed Photoshop on my laptop and at the moment, I'm iconing The Empire Strikes Back.
On the agenda for tomorrow is going to the DMV to get my full license (I've been meaning to do this for months and if I don't do it while I'm thinking of it, I'll never do it) and spending my Borders gift card.
