You left me speechless...
... I am sometimes confounded by people's stupidity. I got a letter from one of the volunteers I have blacklisted from Otakuthon forever (she is stupid and doesn't want to work hard or well for her hours, just expects to show up and do nothing to get the hours) and she needs 2 more hours for her community record.
Here is what she wrote in the first letter:
"My volunteering coordinator told me that I had to complete 20hours of volunteering for the same organizatin. Right now, I need 2hours and 45 minutes before May 15th. I am willing to do anything just to complete my required hours so please, do you have anything for me to do? Thank you."
I replied no, unfortunately we don't have any work for her to do.
Then she comes back with:
"Then, is it possible to for you to write to my coordinator to tell her i finished the 2 hours 45 minutes, and I will pay back on the next convention??"
... how can I pass up a bribe? But being stupid, honest me, I told her no it's not possible, and I would do no such thing. But really, paying someone to forge 2 hours of volunteer work? REALLY?
She is definitely off the volunteer list for now!
