It started innocently enough, Lacy had found a tiny but perfect amethyst on the path while walking to work and stuck it in her pocket. Then, while flipping the mattress, it managed to fall out. That night Regina tossed and turned restlessly until she got up, leaned the mattress up, and found the stone. The next morning she approached Lacy saying "I found this last night, and I know you collect crystals, so I thought you might want it." Lacy was surprised "Oh, where did you find it?" -"Under the mattress." -"Under the bed?" -"No, under the mattress. I have no idea how it got there."
