Forgive me for never really using Livejournal. I should look around on here and find others on here.
Well, I'm officially almost out of the Navy. For real this time. I'm just waiting on my "10 Day" Letter.
WHOOO!
In the downtime (took summer off from school due to life), I've taken up doing Stand-Up comedy. It's pretty exciting and I'm definitely happy to have a chance to get up and do my bits.
Bit of an adrenaline rush. ;)
I have things set up back in Corpus Christi so that I can transition back smoothly and restart school in the Fall. I'm taking four academic courses (Chemistry I, Biology I, English II, and Calculus II) and a certification course for EMT-Basic.
I might get to drive an Am-byou-LANCE!
And I am doing things a bit backward. I'm getting my Bachelors in the Summer, and my Associates in Biology a year after that. I decided in the last year that I want to go to Med School, and I've been doing a lot of volunteer work at a local ER. But part of going to Med School is meeting all the pre-reqs, which will take me about a year and a half. So I figured, "aw hell, let's just get the AS in Bio."
But that's enough about me.
