Dear Board of Directors, methinks your plan should hold more water.

Greetings Good Gentles,

I apologize first if I miss read, or did not read all of the document clearly. I am to understand that this has been put forward:

“The activity of providing beverages to combatants and spectators at SCA
Combat activities is not regulated, warranted, organized, controlled, or
sanctioned by the SCA, Inc. or any affiliate or subsidiary entity. All
warrants, authorizations, or other formal recognition of this activity
are by publication of this change revoked. This document does not either
address or restrict such volunteer activity or the methods by which it
occurs.”

Many events in the Kingdom of Aethelmearc provide an all day side board of drinks and foods. This is part of the feast costs or site costs and is open to most anyone… including fighters and most definitely spectators. So is this now an issue? How does this affect feasts as a whole? How does this affect food merchants at Pennsic? Does this also mean that no water will be provided during any battle at any war type event and it is expressly forbidden? Specifics include the woods battle and on field water bearing station at Pennsic… at least specific to me..

I find this odd as this is not an issue with any adult or minor sports activities, involving schools, churches, red cross, radio\television stations, and much more I am sure.

Me Thinks your plan should hold more water
Alonzio of the Peacemakers
