The End of Jericho: ***SPOILERS***
Okay. I'm satisfied. I would've liked the opportunity to see this happen, but I think we got the most closure we could expect. Jake and Hawkins got to the Texan embassy: that was a gobsmack. And from there, they and the bomb got on a Texas Air Guard jet to San Antonio. En route, the Texans shoot down an ASA jet, presumably starting a war between the Independent Republic of Texas and the Allied States of America. But the jig is apparently up for the ASA, now very soon to be exposed as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Halliburton Jennings & Rall. And so begins the Second Civil War, ending, we may assume, with the restoration of the Union, based in Columbus. No idea what's going on to the east, but I get the impression that the eastern seaboard has been a sea of tar since the show started, anyway.
