Greetings to the list
Hi everyone:
It's me Baron Larry. I'm kind of new to the whole live journal thing, so forgive me if I make any mistakes.
Since this seems to be bio time, I have been in the SCA for over 25 years. (God that makes me feel old). For those of you who remember back this far, I got my Pelican from Gavin and Sedalia. I've run two Pennsic Wars and have been on staff since Pennsic XI. I created the War funds, the Pennsic medalions and done bunch of other things nobody is allowed to know about> ( And we want to keep it that way). I have also run more RPs, local wars some with Atlantia, than I can remember. I've been a greater or lessor kingdom officer since 1993. That includes two non-consecutive terms as Kingdom Seneschal. I liked being a kingdom officer so much, I created the office of Chancellor, just so I had something to do. The only time I have not been a kingdom officer is when Katherine was Kingdom Seneschal. (Go figure).
As for fun, Jonathan can tell you I fights a bit. Sometimes with him when I'm lucky enough to drag out the old timers. I also like melees more than tourneys. Yes, I am one of those Pennsic War nuts. But I'm poud to have commanded the Southern Army for two terms. Right now I'm organizing and running the Southern Unbelted Squad.
