"Goth Angels", Anyone Interested?
redseth and I are currently playing with the idea of putting together a community-walk-type-thing for the student ghetto area here in Albany. This is still in the idea phase and not developed any further.
What we need to know is whether people would be willing to volunteer some time to walk and distribute flyers with safty information and the Albany Police department's phone number and report any vandalism, etc. if any is observed. If we have enough people we'd use the buddy-system (yay Boy Scouts!) where at least one person would have a cellphone. Otherwise, we'll walk around in one large black mass (I couldn't resist it).
