In the land of stuff I totally didn't mention, I'm back at uni, and have been for a couple of weeks now. Also, I moved up to London on a less student-accommodationy basis back in August. Oh, well, anyway...-
I'm currently reading Mary Barton, due to a last minute change to one of my courses. I did have a big rant about how awful the thing is, but didn't really care for it, so let's just say there's a reason why people don't go on about Gaskell in the same way they do some other 19th century novelists.
