(no subject)
Today, I've tried my hand at writing. I last wrote something substantial in June; I wrote a story that I was going to submit to the University magazine. I also have to write something for when term starts in October though, but I've been having great difficulty, so I've wound up not submitting that story, instead holding it back in case I can't churn anything out. I've started a couple of stories since then, but they didn't seem to be going anywhere. This attempt hasn't proved much better. I just can't seem to get in the mood to write for some reason. It's fairly depressing.
This probably isn't aided by my being fairly depressed of late anyway.
Oh, well, anyway, I went to the dentist today. Apparently I might grind my teeth. This isn't remotely interesting, but I thought I'd share it anyway. It's might be the reason my gums hurt sometimes, except when they don't, unless it isn't.
Elsewhere, Persepolis came out on video today. I went to see it at the cinema, because I'm a ponce like that. It's still a very pretty film though. In the unlikely event that anyone cares, the reason the home release is rated 15 even though the film is a 12 is because it includes a short by the same director which is a cavalcade of misery.
