(no subject)
Im so happy!
Ok, so a week ago at jazz band rehearsal theres this slow piece we're playing. theres a beautiful written out solo in the 1st tenor. but the band director said anyone could give a shot at it. at the end of rehearsal i asked him if i could possibly play it next week on euphonium and see what he thinks. he said sure.
so tonight was when I played it with the band. HE really liked it! while we were playing the song, when i was getting to the end of the first solo part, I heard him say " sounded beautiful" (or something like that) the band thought it sound good too! i got a lot of, "sounded great" comments. it made me happy, like an actual big smile was on my face. So he said that its mine :-D yesssss!
So if anyone is in town on may 5th. go to thew macomb jazz band concert! lol.
there was somethign else i was happy about too, but i cant think of it
