I am thinking of closing down this here livejournal.....The whole reason I started it was to be a voice to the younger generation by sharing scripture, and to keep in touch with my son while he was in Iraq. I have shared scripture and was able to reach my son across foreign lands, but now I have also reacted to a couple cruel comments without ( Read more... )

I'm sorry you're thinking of leaving. I was looking forward to hearing about your grandchild's birth and seeing some pictures!

That would be wonderful! I wish you would reconsider though. What about taking those people off your friends' list instead?
We need the prayers and support of other Christians on LJ. And you may touch more people than you realize.

i agree totally with my mom. i was really looking forward to meeting little "kai" through your pictures. i haven't ever seen you give anybody a toungue lashing, but i understand what you mean. as a Christian, you know that you need to be a good example to witness, BUT as a Christian, you are also a human woman. only Jesus didn't make mistakes. if we were perfect, his life and death would have been pointless.....
i'll miss you if you go, please do email either stimmons or me when the baby is born. i'd love to see pictures!!!

I hate to see you go.. I certainly think you are underestimating your presence here. I always look forward to your posts. They are a bright spot, sometimes where there is usually only complaining (myself included in that...)

I feel like I am just getting to know you and I haven't seen much of anything you reference here. If you feel the need to go, I would certainly understand, but I'd be sorry to see it.
