To Make Up For Tonight's Lack-O-New-Episode...

Oct 27, 2008 15:20

Episode One - Pilot

- The girl she's at the bar to comfort through her break-up when she meets Ted is the SAME break-up girl she's there to comfort when she meets Barney at the beginning of Zip-Zip-Zip
- She actually puts the moves on Ted, with the "Olives jar" line and the scotch and music; very Barney of her, I must say

Episode Two - Purple Giraffe

-         She uses the phrase “Have you met Ted?” proving her awesome wingman skills

-         Barney uses the phrase "target acquired," which Robin later uses in Zip-Zip-Zip

-         In their first major interaction, Robin proves she's a firecracker with an insult, inspiring Barney to reply "I'm not sure I like her," even though he CLEARLY does

Episode Three - Sweet Taste of Liberty

-         They don’t share a scene in this whole episode

Episode Four - Return of the Shirt

-         The whole on-air bets Barney gave to Robin: not about the money, Robin's said over and over she's a career woman, so why would she put her career on the line? Just to prove to Barney she could do it?

-         He winked at her while they were sitting at the table (maybe it was Lily...) after the porn-star comment

-         Calls her baby and whispers in her ear, "What baby really likes..." And she responds, "Baby's gonna think about it"

-         Barney starts calling her Scherbasky in this episode

-         When Robin's about to report on the news, Barney calls everyone around the TV to "see something amazing" (aka Robin)

Episode Five - Okay/Awesome

-         In the DVD commentary, NPH said he thinks this is the episode where Robin and Barney really start seeing each other as friends instead of just friends of Ted... or something like that (I'm paraphrasing)
