I wouldn't be surprised if it's not something they just made up because they knew they'd be questioned on it - why else would it have not been mentioned in CFB's tweets?

Exactly. He was grasping at any straws he could in those tweets trying to claim the AUE was "true to life". Why on earth would he then not cite a real life example that he had personal experience with? That would be the FIRST thing you'd mention, especially if you based the AUE on it.

Bottom line, I think they're lying about it. Why shouldn't I think that? They're both proven liars.

Really, why else would it take them 7 months to give this explanation if in fact it was actually true? They could have desperately used something beyond "I don't really know", an answer that made them look like fools. And even "I don't really know" is a lie then because if it was based on this supposed "friend" of theirs then they do know why; they were basing it around that guy's life.

That's the problem with lies. If you're going to lie, you've got to at least pick one answer and stick to it.
