...lost my mind that is. I suddenly find myself liking Logan Echolls. WTF??
See, all these people have been posting about meeting Jason Dohring at The CW Mall Tour and talking about how awesome he was. So I seem to be getting him mixed up with Logan and I've started thinking Logan is awesome. I finally got that song "Sway" (from the Sadie Hawkins Dance) and have been listening to it non-stop for a few days now, and thinking how they must have chosen it to explain how Logan feels and then I feel like maybe he is nice! And is accidentally a jerk all the time! I mean if I had a life like his I'd be a jerk too. Now I feel like I have to watch the two seasons again (and the upcoming third) and act like I have sympathy for him and that I at least kind of want him to be with Veronica.
Stupid nice actors and nice songs, I was happy hating Logan & LoVe!!

Related to this: The CW Mall Tour is coming to my mall this weekend. As in, the mall that when I was a kid, and my parents said, "We have to go to 'the' mall to get school clothes." My original mall, my default mall, my archetypical mall. I only really care if it's people from VM, though, which I haven't been able to figure out yet.

Joss Whedon's speech to Equality Now. There's a transcript here (and some cool icons of it here). He's basically just awesome. Although since he's so passionate about equality, it makes me wonder if I should never wear my "Joss Whedon is my master now" T-shirt again. That's not very equal... but it's true!! He's the reason I started watching VM, for heaven's sake.
I usually hate August, mainly because of the heat. It hasn't been too bad this year, though, and it is shaping up to be an awesome month for the things I am a fan of.
- Snakes on a Plane came out last weekend. I am waiting for my brother to go see it because he and I used to watch those kinds of movies on SciFi Channel all the time. It's our perfect kind of movie. He's working late until Wednesday or Thursday but I should be able to see it after that! (Also, I made Samuel L. Jackson call my brother last week, it was awesome.)
- Veronica Mars Season 2 is on DVD today. I preordered mine at Amazon (with gift certificates I got for using my credit card, yay) so I should get it soon.
- The CW Tour this weekend (maybe).
- A Shakira concert next Tuesday night. In hindsight maybe I shouldn't have gotten tickets for a weeknight, but her non-lying hips made this woman go mad. Ah well, it should be fun, and I like her a lot.
I was going to be ashamed to admit I like the following songs, but they got the Rachana seal of approval: "Sexy Back" by Justin Timberlake, "Buttons" by the Pussycat Dolls, and "London Bridge" by Fergie-the-girl-from-the-Black-Eyed-Peas-who-peed-on-herself-on-stage.

Some "Sway" for you... it's a lovely song that I'd probably be obsessed with even if it wasn't for Veronica Mars. I want to hear more from The Perishers because if this is their typical style, I'll love them!
