Well, it seems LiveJournal has some funny limitations when it comes to adding and keeping track of Friends. The "Mutual Friends" section on your profile has a 495-person limit, so even though I kept adding as a Friend everybody who added me, it would only display 495 mutual friends and then everybody else under "Also Friend Of." Plus, as I just discovered a short while ago, even the "Friends" section on your profile has a 750-person limit. Ironically, it's only the "Also Friend Of" section that has no numerical limit (though it does have a display limit).
So what I've done is deleted everybody from my Friends list. I'm grateful that you're reading my blog, but because of LJ's limitations, the only way for me to have an accurate sense of how many of you there are is to leave you all unfriended and look at the number under "Also Friend Of."
I hope nobody takes offense at that - it's certainly not meant personally and I can always read your journals anytime I want. :-)
And for everybody interested in adding me: There's no need at all to ask if I mind. I'd love for you to add me as a Friend and join in the conversation! Thanks. :-)
792 and counting!!
