Monthly lists are overrated.
8. In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner: OK, this one got better. I still like Good in Bed more, but I have to admit there were some really nice girl-power moments here. An easy read and I keep going back for more.
9. Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver: Love. I sound like a broken record, but the woman is masterful. And a book that can make me think about so many things at one time is a winner. Four stories, all touching at the edges but not overlapping. A little Appalachian culture, a lot about predators and wildlife. Good times.
