All Aboard
Good Morning America...... I am so psyched! In two short days I will be riding the rails southward from Chicago to New Orleans on that famed train " The City of New Orleans" . All my life I have had a child like affection with trains. I have always wanted to take a real train trip and this will be my first. Yes as a kid I rode those theme park trains, the Tweetsie Railroad in NC and various other short ride trains. This will be a 19 hr overnight with a sleeper (bedroomette) almost room ..LOL! I am going with my good friends

busman. Unfortunatly my DW Fullygoldy will not be traveling with us, you know that work thing. I have my bags -packed and I am ready to go, oh wait thats an jet plane song hehe. Choo choo Chabuggy!
I hope to blog this trip here in my LJ and plans right now are to include vidio clips along the way , there , and back. We shall see if all that works or not. We are going to NOLA for the " French Quarter Fest" , all that fablous French/Southern cooking, and the beauty and history of NO itself. This will be my third trip to NOLA and I am really looking forward to renewing my memories of a great city.
