The GBBH has produced it's second beer of the season. An English Pale Ale with an American yeast twist, instead of using an Engilsh yeast strain I went with Chico Ale Yeast, Sierra Nevada's yeast, it will produce a dryer effect in this golden yummy hoppiness of love. The beer rightly named " Goldy's Pale Ale" contains a full round of E.Kent Goldings hops and smelled wonderful as it was boiling.
The Brew Crew of
busman1994 and
emorog did a great job and the brew went so smoothly, almost perfect hitting temps and gravity numbers right on mark. Plans for the BIG more permanent brewery continue on as I have now secured my pump and pretty much have the design in place. It is so nice to be back to producing beer and enjoying the workings and socializing of a brew day. If anyone is interested in joining just let me know and I will alert you to the next one.
