another day, another night
Somehow I was "nominated" to clean at my office all day. Not sure how that happened. But cleaning with Nate was an adventure at least. I have never met a guy who is so obsessively neat. And organized. It's insane. But we got it all done. And we had fun too somehow. Only took 11 hours. We do have a warehouse too. Which we were scrubbing the floor on. Apparently a big client has a contract under review and we have some stiff competition on it... it's down to the company I work for and 1 other, so we are trying to make the best possible impression for the meeting tomorrow. Interesting what people think matters. Like having hazardous waste drums in neat rows, but what the heck. :)
Got a phone call today for an interview at the Mayo Clinic. It is the job I was hoping for when I first moved back home to Minnesota. We'll see what happens... the interview is for the 24th. I'm really, really looking forward to it. I just want to know more about the position and see what it has to offer. There is almost no way it can compete with 20 hours of overtime like I have been working lately. That adds up so quickly. It's great. It almost makes me want to spend money frivolously... but then I snap back to reality and realize I don't do that. And I have this brand new truck to pay for. Jiminy. How can I forget about that? It is on my mind constantly that I have to get rid of that truck already. Like weeks ago. For sure. Totally, for sure. :) Ha.
I am tired, need to go to bed and I have to call Jill before I go to bed. It makes me sad if I don't get to talk to her before I go to sleep. So, I like to make sure it happens. And I can be a total b i t c h if she calls and wakes me up. I usually don't even remember talking to her. Which scares me a little. Hmm.
I tried starting a myspace account. That is the most confusing thing ever! I guess I figured this one out so I can figure that one out too. It has something to do with the fact that I'm tired every night when I'm trying tofigure it out so I get frustrated in about 2 seconds and just log out. Oh well. The people on there do of course find lots of fun quizzes and tests to take. Which is why I've been posting about 5 a day on there.
My cat is meowing at the closed cupboards. I guess that means it's time for bed. Or something like that.
