(no subject)
I was only able to wrangle ONE photo from a friend from the wedding weekend last month up the coast:

It's not a good photo and it's from someone's iPhone. Not sure where any other pics might be of us... ah well... If you're wondering why Pete's in only a T-shirt, he didn't start out like that haha. No, all the boys were in shirts and nice pants, but it was soooooo hot that afternoon (remember that 40C day in Sydney? It was about 33C up the coast) and after the ceremony, they announced if anyone wanted to go back and change into more casual attire they could! So I gave Pete my heels with the instructions to bring back my thongs for me, and he got into shorts and a tee. Pretty much everyone else did too - cept us girls who were all more comfortable in our dresses already. Speaking of dress, that's right, I ended up wearing my back-up $30 dress which on the day made me feel much prettier than the other expensive thing I purchased *sigh* anyway..
It was a beautiful weekend and I love love LOVED the resort we got to stay in. Our apartment we shared was massive, it was so beautifully decorated and fronted right out onto the beach. There was also a huge pool at the complex, 4 infact that you would wander and swim between - including a swim-up-to BAR. Oh yes I was happy. We MUST go back there one day.
I'm also posting to get advice on Valentines Day. We're celebrating it next weekend when I come up for a visit - now, can I/should I buy him a little gift?? If so... WHAT! I need suggestions... something inexpensive but sweet.. What did you boys reading this receive (if you did)?
