(no subject)
Exactly in two weeks I'm gonna be in NEW ZEALAND.
Urgh FINALLY.... I must admit it's been quite some years that it's come to August and that I haven't touched snow yet. Let's see, since 2003???? This pains me greatly. It feels awful and maybe that's why i'm rebelling with spending money I don't have *grumpy face* Anyway... I can't wait to go..
A discovery I just made was that while we have a "4 out of 5 day" ski pass, we also have a bonus 5th day to Cardrona.. however this year it's only a NIGHT SKIING pass. What the hell! I'm so pissed. I cant' believe I didn't pick this up earlier... I wrote to my travel agent but the package changed this year and neither of us really picked up on it and now I'm annoyed. The other thing I discovered was much more pleasant - we get breakfast every day at the hotel. Hooray. But I'm not going to NZ for breakfast, I'm going for skiing.
So here's hoping we can upgrade/change or buy a new day ticket for Cardrona on the day. Bah.
So I'm here in the office while my parents are away on holiday up in QLD. It's quiet here but I've gotten alot of Zwilling work done... the sale yesterday on the webstore spurred some new interest, but of course I need more. The reason for the sale? I NEED THE SPACE! My big storage box is full, and I need to get rid of shit!
Other than that, it's just alot of paperwork keeping track of everything, which painful but I still enjoy it. I am etching closer and closer to breaking even..!!! And I can't wait... (except that I keep spending whatever money I earn on fucking ski jackets like an idiot, but that's not the point.. anyway.. ) so yeah, not much further to the magical number :)
I also took my snowboard to get a tune up (wax, edges, etc).. Normally Beesey would always do it for me for free up at Buller (and a mighty damn good job of it too)... but now I have to not only pay for it, but get a stranger to do it!!! They are making me wait til Weds to pick it up *urgh?!* whatever. Lucky I'm not in a rush. Man, my board has been through the wars... time for a new one - that's what I said last year, ah well. She'll be right for another week in NZ, hopefully I dont' snap her!!
Ok I'm off to watch the finale of USA SYTYCD. I don't really have a fave to win since Janette already got voted off... mooo...
