(no subject)
For the last few years I've had a bit of drama with my tax returns and outstanding HECS debt from 9 years ago. It's only just started to catch up with me and the last two tax returns I completed ended in a few tears and a few "oh but why" moments. Finally this year, the tax man took out the whole remaining $1900+ balance... *sigh*... but I'm mostly relieved it's GONE, it's done, it's over. My whole return would've been about $2500 back if it had been magically overlooked, alas I'm not that lucky.
Today I got called from a debt collection agency in regards to the $1900 I am still outstanding. I told them it just got paid off in full via my tax return last week - they obviously don't have up-to-date information but it seemed that that information was adequate enough for her to leave me alone. Good! Piss off!
I spent about half of what I did get back from my tax return over last weekend... ahh well...
Beanies are going well! Made about 3 today... knocked out about a handful of orders this week... I'm hoping some more come through cuz it's been vewy vewy quiet on the webstore. Also, the addition of any new fans on the FB fanpage has stalled. Pimp it, pimp it people!
I'm off to World Bar again tonight (where that pic was from last weekend) to meet some PEELers. It's been quite some time since I've done a PEEL meet, and it'll be good to see Chay again... but also to meet Rach for the first time! That'll be cool. However, I am a little scared to meet Ben - I have no idea what he looks like.... black emo hair, I suspect.
I need a beer.
It'll be fun to see Chay and Ben meet... with their faux-stalker tendancies through Sydney. It's a small short meet but well earned with Rach out from Perth. I'm sure I'll be jealous of her awesome shoes cuz that's what she's like.
