Hooray! danbok is coming with me to Fall Out Boy!
...it was close though. aussiebuffy was shifting up plans to come up for the weekend, but Dan beat her to the post - only just, cuz I hadn't checked my LJ all day and hadn't realised Dan was locked in when I spoke to Kim! Whew... I nearly doubled booked myself... I was freaking out there for a moment thinking Kim had bought flights already!! I'm sorry Kimmy, we will catch up another weekend sometime. Promise promise promise xx :)
But it's all sorted now and I'm gonna call Nova tomorrow to confirm pick up for my tickets... cuz I'm not selling my original ones until I KNOW I am getting the free ones. Fingers crossed I haven't left it all too late to resell.. i'm sure something will work out anyway.

Got someone's bf call me today for the room... I had to speak to him about the girl that was interested in the room... but after the confusion we arranged for her to come around this afternoon. Yeah haha weird. Anyway.. incase something goes completely wrong and I get kidnapped, y'all know what happened to me... the phone number will be in my mobile!
ETA: Well whaddaya know... I just met with them and I probably have something here. Even though the bf was doing most of the talking, they seemed like pretty normal people. Once i got something out of her, she seemed pretty alright... I could at least joke around a bit. She seemed a little shy but it was nice we could talk about how BAD some of the potential flatmates we've both met have been so far. So I think I might be offering her the room... Ee..
I think they were in the same boat, getting desperate and frustrated with the situation. Always a clever bonding tool. heh

I have powered through my DVDs over the past couple days watching the 2nd season of Survivor: The Australian Outback. hahah yeah I'm sad. I'm just removing myself from the world in the attempt to not spend any money anymore haha. Yes it's that bad. But it's also working me up for the new (18th!) season of Survivor: Tocantins which airs tomorrow in USA... squee!!! So excited!!
