(no subject)
Just rang Peter in NZ ... from my mobile, international... hahah AHH THE THINGS WE DO...
Was really great to hear him :) We chatted like normal, and I could've easily have talked for longer but the guilt about my phonebill was rising, so.. yeah.. He leaves for his huge connection of flights to New York on Boxing Day (Ha, I sure don't miss those pesky 25 hour flights!) and then is spending NYE in NYC. Lucky chump. At least there will be a handful of friends he knows already there when he gets there.. it's going to be a whirlwind from there on in, haha and I probably won't hear from him in a while! Anyway, glad I got to wish him a Merry Christmas this year. Teary, but happy, goodbyes on the phone - typical :P

I'm about to head over to Mum & Dad's for Christmas soon - we do prezzies on Xmas Eve, as per European tradition, so I wonder what's out there under the treeeee! haha not much, I have spent so much with this apartment nobody else really got much in return. I suspect Mum wants to make my brother's gf welcome (as since moving to Sydney she is away from her family now) and there are lots of prezzies under there with her name on it! lol, I'm being replaced!!! haha naw..
I look around and love my apartment. That's my own huge present that is the best. Everything is NEW and I love it.

It's only 20C and miserable and overcast. It was like this last Christmas.... I want blazing heat and blue skies!! Okay, maybe not the heat - but at least the blue skies?? Here's hoping Boxing Day might clear up when we go to a friend's place for a BBQ for the day!
