Hooray, I have two tickets to Fall Out Boy in Sydney next February!

The tickets are okaaay, but as always I'm keeping an eye out for better tickets. Just for seats, pref front row (heck I've done it twice before, I can do it again!) in any lower section for good photo-taking ( Read more... )

I'd like to go to them if I can get a buddy to come along!! (I'm not much of a solo-festival goer, ya know?)

Pretty much I like mostly rock (alternative, grunge, melodic, and mashup with hip hop sounds too)... and more or less mainstream (unfortunately lol)... but have considered something like Good Vibrations cuz there are some pretty interesting acts coming in from o'seas.

Where can I find info on smaller festivals? Or will I have to know the names. Also, what do you suggest? :)

I would totally love to get to something like Byron or Coffs for a festival, I just dont' think I have any COOL FRIENDS who would come with me!! *pouts*
Yeah, what a bunch of weiners.

I'll just have to befriend some cool people when I move to Sydney and get right into it. I will take any excuse for a mini-roadtrip or weekend away...!

Soundwave is the fest for next year.

BDO lineup is very bad, Soundwave is very good!

Yeah ya know ti's not looking too bad. Soundwave 08 wasn't too bad actually (although i just went ONLY for Incubus *swoon* heh) but it was also filled with alot of Emo kids (*stab!!*) who probably didn't realise that the Offspring's entire set list was atually older most of them themselves.

Also, Soundwave 08 was also the first, and hopefully last, festival I went to by myself due to being unable to RESELL MY TICKET. How fucking lame. Never again!

if I had've still be in Melbourne, you would have had a buyer straight away, that's for sure. I do kind of wish I had have gone this year. I went last year, and it was great (Deftones, Thrice, Hatebreed, Terror, Unwritten Law, Mxpx, The Bronx etc)

I already have my ticket for this one and I'm pretty excited.
