(no subject)
After several unsuccessful attempts to catch up with Jodie all week, we finally got there this afternoon! I drove down to her new place (on the other side of damn town! rahh!), which is such a nice place.. I"m totally jealous of her furniture - she has nice taste :) We had a couple wines with crackers and cheese.. talking talking talking.. I like chatting with her, particularly about girly stuff and relationships and stuff.. she has a good opinion on things and we both have a similar way of doing things. It'll be sad to leave Melbs now she's in town!! She's a great girly friend! She had a couple of other country friends come over later in the afternoon who were staying so we met and hung out for a bit. I stayed longer than expected because of the DAYLIGHT SAVINGS that kicked in today and it was light until about 7pm tonight! Ah! But nice.. wow, what a great day it was outside!
This morning I woke up at fake-5am (daylight savings 6am time) to go to work, and my car was iced over from the frost. What! It's October!! Crazy... work was insanely busy too. Blah.
4 more sleeps til QLD! Yay! Not long to go til I get to hang at the beach, hang with Pete, get in the surf, enjoy some downtime and the good company. Can't wait :)
