I got a little sidetracked earlier this evening. I had been replying to something Steve had posted about one's "Fitness Age" - based on measurements and your health and strength and such... and while looking around online for a cheat's guide to one of these tests, I came across
www.realage.com which allowed me to take a long survey about my health history.
Apparently I'm 25.6 years old!
Not bad! haha..
Things that are aging me:
- Not eating enough fruits
- Eating too much red meat
- Sleeping too much (Ah?)
- Not doing enough strength training
- Not flossing enough
- Driving a small vehicle (huh? lol!)
- Not taking daily vitamins
- Having a high BMI (but still in the healthy range) & high resting heart rate (i think I did wrong anyway haha)
Things keeping me young:
- Taking medication as directed (not hard! heh)
- Parents that have stayed together
- Enjoying a range of foods
- Doing cardio activity
- No family history of cancer
As I did the test I began to realise it's probably more for someone a little older than I am, or someone who has a lot more real health concerns than I do. But, it did kill 20 mins here at work. What's your Real Age?
