Update
I have totally picked the right weekend to have off :D All reports are showing MORE snow falling today, tomorrow and Saturday.. with it fining up for Sunday. OH YEAH. *happy dance!!!*
So, it seems I have to wait until Friday to see whether we can get a single night accomm anywhere me and the girls. It doesn't look good, particularly with all this snow everyone is bombarding the mountain wanting beds. Although, I did call HCR (the central reservations place) yesterday and hoped I would get my friend Paul (aka Fluffy!).. and I did!! It was right on 9am when they opened and it was definitely an "OMG!" moment hehe I haven't seen him since last year, and he had since quit the Arlberg Hotel where we both used to work to move to Mansfield and work for HCR now, so it was great to do a really quick catchup and get into business - the phone lines were SO backed up! AHh!
I just watched the snow report video on the website. OH MY GOD yesterday was STELLAR. Freshies everywhere. Even mini powder-esque... they grabbed video in areas before the grooming began, and with the blue skies it looks amazing... I can't wait for this weekend. Sunday will be THE DAY for skiing. Even Jess is coming now!!
