Tonight is the final night of this 5-night only showing of the Warren Miller movie in Melbourne. Arghhh I wanna go - but nobody else is into snow like I am. And I'm not dorky enough to go on my own! :P
So wait, the worthiness of a movie is gauged by whether someone else wants to see it, rather than by the subject matter and presentation?
If you want to see it and nobody else does, go see it anyhow.
Movies are one of those things. People feel like they have to have someone with them or they're a loser.
I don't like it when people think they're losers for going to a movie or a dinner out by themselves. Isn't the point of these activities that they're nice things, to be enjoyed for their own merits?
MHmmm i see your point... but I also want to enjoy the experience with someone else. It's one of those movies where you go "OMG WHOAAAA" "Check that out!!" "I can't believe he did that!!" at all the stuff going on.
