Stuffs.
Big snowboard store sale starts today... so I have tomorrow off and I might pop down there and have a bit of a look around. It's on the other side of town but I don't mind... (maybe I'll find some pants! hah! Grrr.. i'm so bad..)
We had a guy out today to inpect the washing machine. Matilda and I seem to be the only ones who care about getting the damn thing fixed since it doesn't spin properly/at all, and generally doesn't wash anything without wringing everything around the centre spindle and ruining all your clothes. It might cost a bit (and I actually would've rathered to have rented the machine from Radio Rentals or something, cuz then it's a new one and we don't have to worry about "repairs" if anything goes wrong) but at least it's going to be fixed. It belongs to Kate so *shrugs* I guess if she doesn't mind then at least we're getting it fixed. The guy will be back tomorrow with the part we need - something about a brake stop or something?? I dunno, I wasn't really listening - Matilda was luckily. Anyway, yay... a washing machine that works! I've taken my stuff a couple times to work to do my laundry just to get stuff done. So many of my shirts have been totally stretched out and ripped because of the shitty machine at home. Grrr...
My birthday is coming up soon... doesn't feel like it... it's going to be weird, no friends around on the day (except you, Kimmy! hehe). At least I'm going up to Buller the following weekend and making up for it then. Mmmm a whole weekend to catch up with "my peeps" :) Can't wait!
